Chrysalis Celebrates 25 Years & New Counselor

Chrysalis Counseling Center, which serves clients from offices on our third floor, celebrated 25 years in January 2013. This service, which began as a ministry of BSCC by member Anne Dunn, quickly grew to become an independent not-for-profit organization and has been thriving ever since.

Susan Lansche, the primary Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) of the Chrysalis Counseling Center, and the Chrysalis Counseling Center Board of Directors are also pleased to announce that Chrysalis has welcomed a new Licensed Professional Counselor, Patricia A. Toth.

“Patty” moved to New Bern in 2012. She is a clinical counselor, educator, and mediator who works with diverse populations in the fields of prevention, clinical mental health, employee assistance, and vocation. She has been designing and implementing special and creative programs based on Health Realization/Psychology of Mind since 1996. Patty earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical/Developmental Psychology from Humboldt State University of Arcata, CA. Patty’s office is at the top of the stairs on the third floor of our church. She works part-time one or two days per week. Please help Patty and her clients to feel welcome.
